(1) Conditions of steel storage yard steel can be stored in the open air or in a warehouse with a roof. When stacking in the open air, the site shall be flat and higher than the surrounding ground, and drainage ditches shall be left around; when stacking, the back of steel section shall be upward or outward as far as possible to avoid snow and ponding, and the height difference between both ends shall be provided to facilitate drainage. When stacked in a warehouse with a ceiling, it can be directly stacked on the floor, and the bottom is padded with corrugated wood.

(2) The stacking of steel requires that the deformation and corrosion of steel should be reduced as much as possible; the steel should be stacked with corrugated wood every 5-6 layers, the spacing of which should not cause obvious bending deformation of steel, and the corrugated wood should be aligned up and down in the same vertical plane; a certain width channel should be reserved between the stacking of materials for transportation.

(3) Steel identification steel end shall be set up with signs, which shall indicate steel specification, steel number, quantity and material acceptance certificate number. The steel ends are painted with different colors according to their steel grades. The steel plate shall be inspected regularly.

(4) The inspection system must be strictly implemented before the steel products are formally put into storage, and the qualified steel products can be put into storage. The main contents of steel inspection include: the quantity and variety of steel are consistent with the order contract; the quality assurance certificate of steel is consistent with the mark printed on steel; the specification and size of steel are checked; the surface quality inspection of steel.
